About Rick

Rick is a Certified Cognitive-Behavioral Therapist and a Certified Christian Marriage & Family Therapist. He has been working in the mental health field since 1983 at various inpatient psychiatric hospitals, and has been providing outpatient counseling since 1994. Rick has been married to Dr. Kathy Roepke since 1986, and together they have two children, Emily and Erik. Together, Rick & Kathy founded Christian Family Institute in November 1996.

They are active in their local church, and have led numerous marriage enrichment seminars across the country, including several churches in Bowling Green and across the state of Kentucky. Rick has been previously featured in Home Life magazine on the topic of Stress and Marriage. Rick also provides executive coaching and consulting services for all types and sizes of business/industry.
